The Play Fool - The Upsidedown Theatre of Buffoons

Deep in the swamps of human existence, lie the fools  - the Buffoons. 
​Those creatures extracted out of society enjoy observing, imitating and mocking the human race. Bothered by nothing, playing with everything, they dwell in the opposite of Tragedy.
Buffoons come in all shapes and span a wide range: from the diminished and the distorted outcasts, through the king and village fool, to the contemporary false news anchors like Colbert and Stewart. Some live in groups, others alone.

In this workshop we will journey through:

• the parody, exaggeration, grotesque, irreverence, transgressions, provocation, all kinds of incorrectness and many other spicy dishes
• the gratuitous play - to play just for the pleasure of play
• the deformity - totally changing of one's own body
• creativity and imagination through an unbridled freedom of play
• humanity - from innocence to monstrosity
